This summer, my research partner delved into tea. We've been brewing several cups a day for the last month and I've really taken a liking to it. I'm planning on doing a bit of research into the the health consequences of tea, but a surface check seems to show that both black and green teas are good.
I also believe tea sets a good environment for talking, which I thoroughly enjoy. I'm hoping to visit a bulk goods store in Moscow (across the border in Oregon) and pick up a variety of new teas to try.

I didn't know you brewed tea. I thought you just put the tea bags in the pot or else it gets the hose again.
I enjoy a cup of herbal tea from time to time. But I did have some regular tee last week for the first time in years and I quite enjoyed it.
Yeah, I never liked the bitter side of tea as a youngster, but that taste is starting to appeal a little more to me now.
I do think brewed tea (loose leaf in those mesh cages) tastes better than bagged tea. But maybe that's just me...
Funny you should say that since I am currently sipping a green tea. Usually don't like green tea, since, as someone once pointed out, it smells like old women feet (not that I would know, but I can definitely imagine that to be the case!).
HOWEVER.
It has caffeine. And I need some of that today.
I'm feeling a tad depressed after catching up on the news -- mainly, the dude who shot 3 women on Tuesday at a gym in PA, and then the other gal who "hired" a hit man (undercover agent) to kill her husband of 6 months.
WTF.
WTF, indeed.
News is depressing and often used to scare people, I believe.
It's important to remember that the news isn't covering millions of good (less dramatic) things going on every day...
